Working Principle of The Bundle Extractor

When extracting and installation the heat exchanger bundles, the machine must be moved to the appropriate position first and precisely aligned with the heat exchanger using the positioning device. For the horizontal heat exchanger, the machine's mechanical frame must be placed parallel to the heat exchanger shell. Align the bundle extractor with the centerline of the heat transfer bundle.

Once positioning is complete, the power system is activated. If the machine is hydraulically powered, the hydraulic pump begins operating, pumping hydraulic oil to various hydraulic actuators, such as hydraulic cylinders or motors. The hydraulic oil generates linear or rotational motion in the cylinders or motors, driving the pulling mechanism. The winch connect to the tube board. Driven by the power, the winch begins slowly pulling the tube bundle. With the mechanical frame providing stable support and the positioning device ensuring the correct direction of movement, the tube bundle can be smoothly extracted from the heat exchanger shell. During the extraction process, the extraction speed of the tube bundle can be adjusted by controlling the output power and speed of the power system to avoid damage to the tube bundle and the heat exchanger shell due to excessive speed.
